Roulette or Blackjack? Top 5 Most Played Casino Games at Online Casinos

Betway Casino Platform Overview

Which of the two is more popular among online casinos—roulette or blackjack? Where among these casino games do online players win most often? We answer these and more questions in our new review.

In this edition, we have compiled the top five most popular online casino games played on a daily basis by millions of online players from all over the world for entertainment purposes.

1. Slots

Just like in traditional casinos, electronic slots remain one of the most ubiquitous forms of entertainment and, generally speaking, a gambling icon.

The concept of slot games is straightforward: depending on the machine type, the player spins the reel or components of several cells and waits for a specific combination of symbols to appear.

The coveted "sevens," "cherries," or whatever matching icon is an indication of a victory in slot games.

Winning in slots, as in all the gambling games, is dependent on the player's luck, their game spirit by raising the bets, and when to stop.

It must be noted that slot machines have generated one of the biggest jackpots in casino history: Ethan Miller, a 25-year-old Los Angeles programmer, won nearly $40 million by betting only $100 at a Las Vegas casino.

2. Roulette

If slot machines can be used to depict the sign of any casino, then the popular roulette game can boast the title of one of the oldest gambling games. Roulette is very popular even in modern internet casinos.

Players can place a bet on whether or not the ball lands on a given color, odd, or even, or on a specific number. In accordance with this, the winnings are paid.

Several gamblers attempt to calculate the outcome of the wheel using mathematics, but no one has yet outsmarted fate.

3. Blackjack

Do not be afraid, another foreign word—"blackjack"—merely means "black jack," and in our country, blackjack is known as one of the forms of the popular "twenty-one" or "21" game.

Internet blackjack is the same as the "real" one: you must beat the dealer by obtaining the maximum possible points without exceeding 21.

Based on the size of the bets, you can choose a virtual table and get into the game. After that, two cards will be assigned to you, and a single face-up card will be handed over to the dealer.

Then the player can ask for a card from the dealer or stick with their hand. Once all players have made their decision, the dealer will reveal his cards and the winner will be decided.

4. Keno

Well-liked by many Ukrainians by the name of the same-named national lottery, Keno is one of the oldest recorded number games in history.

The goal is to pick a group of 20 numbers out of a group of 80 numbered balls.

The more numbers the player receives when the balls are drawn towards the end of the game, the greater the prize.

Online keno players can specify how many games they would like to play, and each of the games will be multiplied by the amount of the bet placed.

Have you never tried to mark your lucky numbers and get rewarded for it? Now's the time!

5. Craps

Of course, no online casino would be complete without the most popularly played dice casino game. New Orleans, so the myth has it, is where craps was invented, the game which, according to the old song, "killed many unlucky guys."

Craps is a game for multiple players where the goal is to predict the pair of figures (points) on two six-sided dice that are rolled.

Instead of a dealer, the banker takes charge of the game and rolls the dice and totals the points. If the roll results in a 7 or 11 on the first throw, the banker is the winner, referred to as a "pass."

On completion of the pass, the banker has to distribute the dice to the next player in a clockwise direction, and if they land on 2, 3, or 12, they lose immediately, which is a "miss-out."

To take the game, the banker must roll a point two times in succession—dice with 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 points. If the banker rolls a point and afterwards a 7, he loses and rolls the dice to the next player.

Players may bet on winning with the first or second roll (win), on the 2, 3, or 12 points on the first roll (lose), on 6 or 8, on losing, or on a combination of seven numbers (2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 11).

The more opportunities the bet will have to be a winner, the smaller return the player will receive for having placed it. So don't expect to win a lot of money if you're betting on all seven numbers all the time.
