Updated

Written and kept up to date by our own desk. We start at the cashier, we check the licence number against the regulator’s own register, and we print a figure only where the operator states it in terms we can read. How we check.

This is a small editorial site about UK online casinos. One address handles everything; it is read by a person, not by a ticketing robot. Write to it directly, or use the box at the foot of this page — both reach the same inbox.

What the box collects, and who processes it, is set out under the two forms.

What to write about

  • A correction. If a figure, a term or a licence status on this site is out of date or wrong, say which page and what the operator’s own terms say now. Corrections are made on the page itself, not in a comment under it.
  • An operator that should be listed, or removed. Tell us the brand and the reason. The criteria are on how we check, and they are the only thing that decides it.
  • Commercial enquiries. Same address. What a commercial arrangement can and cannot buy is set out on how we check: it never buys a position in a list or a sentence about an operator.

What we cannot help with

We are not a casino and we hold no player accounts. We cannot see your balance, release a withdrawal, lift a verification hold, reopen a closed account or reverse a self-exclusion. Those all sit with the operator, and none of them can be done by a third party.

If an operator will not resolve a complaint, the route is its own complaints procedure first, then the alternative dispute resolution body named in its terms, and the Gambling Commission as the regulator of the licence. If the problem is that you are gambling more than you meant to, GAMSTOP blocks every UK-licensed site at once, and GamCare answers on 0808 8020 133 at any hour, free and in confidence.

Who writes this

The site is written and maintained in-house: text published here is written here, and guest articles are not accepted. Some outbound links inside older articles are commercial arrangements made with this site. What such an arrangement can and cannot affect is set out on how we check — it buys a link and nothing else, and never a position in a list, a figure, or a sentence about an operator.

How a correction is handled

Corrections are made on the page itself and dated there, in the line under the heading, so that the change is visible to the next reader rather than only to the person who reported it. If a figure is wrong, it is removed the same day it is questioned and comes back only when the operator’s own terms or the regulator’s register can be quoted for it; a figure that cannot be sourced again does not come back at all, and the page says that instead. If a claim turns out to have been ours rather than a source’s, the page says that too. Nothing is corrected silently, and no correction is made by deleting the page.
